Stewarding the Collective

Together, Nadia and Shatawn steward the Brigham Collective as both a body of work and a way of working. Their partnership reflects a balance between vision and execution, strategy and experience, and depth and structure. Across consulting engagements, entrepreneurial ventures, and curated offerings, they collaborate to ensure that each enterprise within the Collective is distinct in its purpose and aligned in its values. Grounded in a shared commitment to care, clarity, and transformation, their work shapes not only what is built, but how it is experienced.

Nadia C. Brigham, Ph.D.

Dr. Nadia Brigham is a strategist, researcher, and founder whose work sits at the intersection of narrative, leadership, and human transformation.

As the principal of the Brigham Collective, she leads a connected ecosystem of enterprises, including Brigham Consulting, Radiant & Rising, Accelerate Equity, and Brigham Wine Concierge. Each is designed to advance how individuals, organizations, and communities lead, live, and shape what is possible.

With more than two decades of experience across philanthropy, systems change, and leadership development, Dr. Brigham’s work is grounded in an ontological approach that moves beyond strategy alone to cultivate agency, alignment, and meaningful transformation. Her research explores the power of narrative in shaping internalized beliefs and lived experience, particularly as it relates to Black identity, healing, and self-determination.

Across her work, whether advising institutions, designing leadership experiences, developing narrative tools, or curating spaces of care and connection, Dr. Brigham is committed to building ecosystems that support both structural change and human wholeness.

Shatawn N. Brigham, M.Ed.

Shatawn Brigham, M.Ed. is a co-founder, coach, and strategic partner across the Brigham Collective, contributing to the design and delivery of work that spans consulting, leadership development, and curated experiences.

With more than 20 years of experience in educational leadership, organizational development, and community-centered practice, Shatawn brings a grounded and relational approach to his work. As a facilitator and advisor, he partners with leaders, organizations, and communities to navigate complexity, strengthen relationships, and align how they live and lead with who they are becoming.

His coaching is rooted in deep listening, relational awareness, and a belief in each person’s capacity to grow, lead, and make intentional choices. Across the Collective’s enterprises, including Brigham Wine Concierge, Brigham Consulting, Embrace Becoming, and client-facing experiences, Shatawn helps translate vision into thoughtful, structured, and impactful engagement.

He creates affirming spaces where individuals and teams can examine familiar patterns, explore new possibilities, and take meaningful steps toward their goals with greater clarity and confidence.
